Jay Song was named Vice President – ExxonMobil LNG Market Development, ExxonMobil Oil & Gas Company on 1st April 2021 and is based in Singapore.

Jay has almost 17 years of international experience in the oil and gas industry and was most recently managing the commercial activities for ExxonMobil’s M&A group in Houston with specialization in corporate acquisitions and South America/Deepwater. Prior to his role in M&A, Jay spent nearly 14 years in LNG marketing and business development, including leading marketing for ExxonMobil’s equity and JV LNG projects. Jay also managed the pipeline gas and storage trading activities for ExxonMobil’s European ventures covering Norway, UK, Germany, and Italy.

Jay was awarded a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Western Australia while he was the marketing manager for Gorgon LNG.

Jay is married and has two daughters.
